CIIE investment roadshow series reaches Anhui as ninth stop

A press conference in Hefei on 24 March 2026 announced the CIIE Goes Local event for Anhui, part of a series the Ministry of Commerce has run annually since 2021 to deepen inbound investment and serve dual circulation. The CIIE Bureau said the series has brought more than 1,300 CIIE exhibitors, investment promotion agencies and multinationals to eight provinces and regions so far, helping turn exhibits into commodities and exhibitors into investors; Anhui is the ninth stop. The bureau highlighted three features: the calibre of participants, with 84 Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading companies registered and nearly 40 global or China-level executives attending; precise matchmaking, with the investment intentions of each participating company mapped in advance against the resources and policy advantages of Anhui cities and industrial parks; and alignment with the province strategic positioning as a source of technological innovation, a cluster for emerging industries, a new high ground for reform and opening up, and a zone for comprehensive green transition.
