CIIE named in Chinese white paper on global governance

The State Council Information Office released a white paper on 17 June 2026 titled Building a More Just and Equitable Global Governance System: China Vision, Proposals and Actions. In the third part of the main text, on China contribution to advancing global governance, the second section on promoting open cooperation and common development refers to actively developing open cooperation platforms such as the China International Import Expo. The CIIE Bureau noted the reference and said the 9th CIIE will be held in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November 2026, inviting participants to use the expo as a platform connecting the Chinese market with global resources for exchange, international procurement and industrial cooperation.
