COSME Week TOKYO 2026 Concludes with Record Engagement, Drawing Over 32,000 Visitors
COSME Week TOKYO 2026 has closed after running 14 to 16 January at Tokyo Big Sight, reporting a preliminary 32,563 attendees and 723 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions. The floor covered raw materials, OEM services and finished products alongside high-performance ingredients, innovative containers and packaging solutions, beauty devices, supplements, health foods and hair care innovations. Three keynote seminars anchored the conference programme: Tomomasa Shimanuki, Corporate Officer for research and development at POLA Chemical Industries, on research philosophy; Masaki Motoki, Executive Officer at ORBIS, on co-creation initiatives; and Hitomi Itasaka, Division Manager for global branding at FANCL Corporation, on skincare innovation for children. An academic forum combined poster presentations with 30-minute research seminars, giving industry professionals direct access to researchers and a route into collaborative projects. The organiser has confirmed the next dates: COSME Week Osaka runs 30 September to 2 October 2026 at INTEX Osaka, incorporating COSME TECH and COSME OSAKA, and COSME Week Tokyo returns to Tokyo Big Sight from 17 to 19 February 2027.
