DAC closes Long Beach debut with 5,059 attendees

The Design Automation Conference, the Chips to Systems Conference, wrapped up its Long Beach debut with 5,059 total attendees and roughly 120 exhibiting companies filling the floor. The organiser said discussion of AI moved past assistance, tools that suggest and summarise, and into execution, with agents now taking on verification debug, design optimisation and physical implementation inside the design flow, as established EDA companies and a new wave of AI-focused startups each brought their own approach. DAC 2027 will be held in San Jose, California, from 11 to 14 July.
