Deutsche Messe to launch Industrial Transformation Africa in Casablanca

Deutsche Messe will bring its industrial trade fair network to Africa for the first time with the inaugural Industrial Transformation Africa, to be held in Casablanca, Morocco, from 29 September to 1 October 2026. In parallel the company is setting up the Smart Factory Academy Casablanca as a year-round platform offering training programmes, workshops, conferences and hands-on demonstrations in automation, robotics and Industry 4.0, allowing companies to showcase technologies long term, upskill staff and stay engaged with the market between editions. Deutsche Messe describes the fair and the academy together as an integrated 365-day strategy for expanding its presence in the African market and boosting technology transfer and international cooperation. CEO Jochen Köckler said Africa is a rapidly expanding and strategically vital industrial market in which Morocco plays a central role, and that the combination lets the company engage customers throughout the year rather than only at the annual fair, strengthening its global HANNOVER MESSE network.
