Malaysia's trade rose 9.5% year-on-year to RM245.20 billion in February 2026 — the sixth consecutive month of expansion and the highest February level ever recorded. Exports grew 10.8% to RM130.95 billion (continuing consistent growth since July 2025), while imports rose 8.2% to RM114.24 billion, generating a trade surplus of RM16.71 billion (70th consecutive month).
