Easyfairs Acquires The AI Conference in San Francisco

Easyfairs has acquired The AI Conference, an event dedicated to applied artificial intelligence held in San Francisco. Deal terms were not disclosed. Launched in 2023, the event expects 5,500 attendees in 2026 and has announced 120 speakers for this year. Its programme covers how artificial intelligence systems are built, deployed, governed and scaled in real-world settings, spanning fundamental research and governance, large language models, AI frameworks and architecture, platforms and solution development. The format opens with Day ZERO for senior AI leaders, followed by two days of five-track programming, main-stage keynotes, the Startup Showdown and an expanded Innovation Hub. Easyfairs chief executive Matt Benyon said this is the company's second acquisition and fourth event in the United States, in line with a strategy of building high-growth positions through launches in niche sectors and purchases of established events. Founder and chief executive Shon Burton said Easyfairs gives the event the reach and resources to meet rising demand. The buyer launched Coiltech North America in June 2025, acquired the Energy Projects Conference & Expo in December 2025 and will launch Digital Accountancy Show US next year. The AI Conference was advised by CapM.
