EDPA Launches Canada Chapter as Its Twelfth Official Chapter

The Experiential Designers & Producers Association has launched EDPA Canada, its 12th official chapter, extending the association's network of education, advocacy and industry connection to Canadian members and giving greater visibility to the country's exhibit and event sector. The founding leadership team is still being assembled. Confirmed board members are Carissa Stewart of wonderMakr as president, Kim Davies of beMatrix Canada as vice president, and Gery Hunter of Hunter Expositions handling membership and growth as a member at large. The chapter is recruiting candidates for treasurer and secretary, along with additional members at large to cover events and education, sponsorship and partnerships, communications, and future workforce initiatives. Board president Carissa Stewart said the goal is a board representing a cross-section of the Canadian experiential, exhibit and events industry from across the country, and that outreach to further prospective board members has already begun. She added that interest received so far has been encouraging and that more will be shared as the founding board comes together.
