EIC elects 2026 Board: Stephanie Harris takes the chair, Jason Dunn chair-elect

The Events Industry Council announced the election of officers and directors to its 2026 Board of Directors, with terms beginning 1 January 2026. Stephanie Harris, President and CEO of the Incentive Research Foundation, serves as Chair after her term as Chair-Elect. Jason Dunn, CEO of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals, becomes Chair-Elect, while Dr Senthil Gopinath, CEO of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), continues as Immediate Past Chair. Tina Wehmeir, CMP, CAE, President and CEO of AMC Institute, was elected Treasurer for a one-year term. Three association members were elected as at-large directors for two-year terms running to 31 December 2027: Mark Cooper, CEO of the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC); Annette Gregg, CEO of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE); and Paul Van Deventer, President and CEO of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Dunn said the year ahead, which includes the release of the 2026 Global Economic Significance Study and Global Meetings Industry Day, gives EIC an opportunity to articulate the value of business events. EIC President and CEO Amy Calvert said the board reflects the strength of leadership across the organisation's global membership.
