EIC names 72 professionals to the 2026 CMP Fellows class

The Events Industry Council announced the 2026 class of its CMP Fellows Programme, admitting 72 Certified Meeting Professionals and Emeritus CMPs. The CMP Fellow designation recognises tenured professionals who have made long-term contributions to the profession through education, mentorship and volunteer leadership; it is a peer-recognised honour rather than an examination-based credential, and sits above the CMP certification that EIC administers. Carolyn Patterson-Kemper, M.S., CMP, D.E.S., Director of the CMP Programme, said each Fellow represents leaders who consistently give back and help move the global business events industry forward. The class was formally inducted on 14 April 2026 at a virtual ceremony that drew nearly 100 participants from across the global business events community.
