Eighth China International Import Expo Drew 4,108 Companies from 138 Countries Across 367,000 Square Metres

The eighth China International Import Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, ran from 5 to 10 November 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The country exhibition brought together 67 countries, regions and international organisations across 30,000 square metres, with more than a hundred events during the week; it introduced twin-city joint displays and a charming sister-cities section for the first time, and leaders or senior officials from 19 countries including Georgia, Serbia and the United Arab Emirates took part. The business exhibition covered more than 367,000 square metres and drew 4,108 companies from 138 countries and regions, records for both floor space and exhibitor numbers; 290 of them were Fortune Global 500 or industry-leading firms, and 180 companies have now attended all eight editions. The expo's role as a launch platform strengthened further, with 461 representative new products, technologies and services unveiled, including 201 global debuts, 65 Asian debuts and 195 China debuts.
