Equiplast 2026 Reaches 95% Capacity with 400+ Exhibitors from 16 Countries

Equiplast 2026, Spain's reference plastics and rubber trade fair organised by Fira de Barcelona, will open at the Gran Via venue from 2 to 5 June 2026, co-located with chemical industry fair Expoquimia. Together the two shows expect more than 800 exhibitors and 21,000 professionals. Six months ahead of the event, Equiplast already reports 95% space occupancy, with 400+ exhibitors from 16 countries — a 12% increase on the previous edition. Nearly a third of exhibitors are international, with the strongest representation from China, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Turkey, France and the Netherlands. The 2026 edition focuses on the sector's transition towards circular economy, material and process innovation, recycling and digitalisation.
