Expoquimia 2026 Marks 60th Anniversary with 400+ Exhibitors and 40% Growth

Spain's leading chemical industry trade fair Expoquimia will hold its 60th-anniversary edition at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via venue from 2 to 5 June 2026, co-located with Equiplast, the international plastics and rubber fair. Six months ahead of the event, the show already reports 90% space occupancy and expects to exceed 400 exhibitors, a 40% increase compared to the 2023 edition. Strongest growth is recorded in machinery and industrial equipment, pumps and fluid handling, laboratory instrumentation, and engineering and automation. Committee president Carles Navarro highlighted the fair's role in demonstrating chemistry's contribution to industrial decarbonisation and technological innovation across process industries.
