FIMA 2026 Announces Technical Novelties Competition and Excellence Award Winners

FIMA 2026 (International Agricultural Machinery Fair, Zaragoza) has announced the winners of its Technical Novelties Competition and Excellence Award. The ceremony will be held on 11 February 2026 at the Paraninfo of the Universidad de Zaragoza. This edition recognised two Outstanding Technical Novelties and seven Technical Novelties across three categories: tractors and autonomous robots; fixed and mobile machinery; and agronomic management software and digitalisation. Key winners include the RoboCOMPACT robot by Energreen, the VARIOSMART precision fertiliser system by Kuhn Ibérica (Outstanding), and the GS direct seeder by Maquinaria Agrícola Solà (Outstanding). The Excellence Award went to Gardeniers (backed by ATADES), a social enterprise managing over 20 certified organic hectares and promoting inclusive agricultural employment.
