First exhibits for ninth CIIE ship from Hamburg to Shanghai

The China International Import Expo Bureau said the first exhibits for the 9th CIIE were loaded at the Port of Hamburg on the morning of 25 August 2026 German time and are expected to reach Shanghai Yangshan Port in late September or early October. The consignment is an M35-G MILLTURN mill-turn machining centre from the Austrian firm WFL, which left Linz in Austria on 7 August and travelled by road to Hamburg before being shipped to Shanghai. WFL, a specialist in mill-turn technology described as an Austrian hidden champion, is exhibiting at the CIIE for the first time, and the machine will make its Asian debut at the event. The 9th CIIE runs from 5 to 10 November 2026 in Shanghai.
