FITUR 2026 (46th Ed.): 10,000 Companies from 161 Countries, +11% International Growth, Mexico as Partner Country

FITUR 2026, the International Tourism Fair, held its 46th edition at IFEMA MADRID from 21–25 January 2026. Pre-show figures confirmed record scale: 10,000 companies from 161 countries, 111 with official representation (+10 vs. prior edition), and 967 titular exhibitors with 11% growth in international participation. Eighteen new countries joined, led by Africa (+34% exhibit space) and Asia-Pacific (+22%). Mexico participated as Partner Country with 800+ delegates. Key innovations included the new Pabellón del Conocimiento (8 auditoriums, 200+ sessions, 250+ top-level speakers), FITUR Experience section, and the inaugural International Communication and Tourism Summit. Travel Technology doubled its surface to host 190+ companies. Visitor attendance was forecast to exceed 250,000 professionals and leisure travellers. The 2025 edition generated €487 million in economic impact for Madrid.
