Puerto Rico Named Partner Country of FITUR 2027

Puerto Rico has been announced as the Partner Country for FITUR 2027, the 47th edition of the International Tourism Fair in Madrid. The agreement was unveiled on 23 January 2026 at the country's stand during FITUR 2025, by Daniel Martínez, Executive Vice President of IFEMA MADRID, and Jenniffer González Colón, Governor of Puerto Rico. The designation gives Puerto Rico privileged strategic visibility before global tourism industry leaders, strengthening its European market positioning and accelerating promotion, investment, and business opportunities. Puerto Rico closed 2025 with record tourism figures, welcoming over 6.8 million arrivals at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, a 3% increase over 2024.
