FITUR TechY Marks 20th Edition Focusing on AI and Tourism Transformation

FITUR TechY, the tourism technology and innovation section of FITUR organised with the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), celebrated its 20th edition under the theme From Robot to Ally. The edition featured four parallel forums: TechYnegocio, focused on AI reshaping hotel management and revenue advertising; TechYsostenibilidad, examining regenerative tourism, circular economy, sustainable mobility and energy efficiency; TechYdestino, analysing data governance, digital sovereignty and smart destination models with speakers from UN Tourism and the Mexican government; and TechYfuturo, exploring AI architecture, robotics, immersive realities and conscious hospitality. The edition also launched ITH Lab, an interactive zone featuring advanced robotics demonstrations including a robotic buffet of the future and the TechYroom 3.0 with virtual reality and biotechnology experiences.
