Greencities 2026 to Connect Municipal Managers Around Sustainable City Solutions in Málaga

Greencities, Urban Intelligence & Smart Mobility — Spain's premier national forum on innovative and sustainable urban management — will return to FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) on 15 and 16 September 2026. The event will bring together public managers, companies and city networks to define sustainable solutions, with urban management at its core. Key themes for 2026 include the circular economy, climate transition, energy efficiency, urban nature, water resilience, smart mobility and urban data management. The programme combines a Green Plaza exhibition area, thematic forums, case study presentations and a Test Drive vehicle zone, plus personalised networking sessions. Flagship spaces include the City Speakers forum for municipal representatives, the Mayors and Innovation Forum (co-organised with COTEC, RECI and Innpulso), the Open Call for Startups and the Smart City Awards. The 2025 edition brought together over 2,200 professionals, 88 exhibitors, 100 cities, 45 mayors and 150 speakers from 27 countries, confirming Greencities as an international benchmark for public-private dialogue in urban innovation.
