Hamburg Messe und Congress Premieres Three New Own Events: ALL ABOUT PORTS, LogiNext Germany and Longevity Forum Deutschland

Three new own events of Hamburg Messe und Congress hold their premieres this week at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, in parallel with SMM Hamburg, which the organiser describes as the world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry; according to the company, this has never happened before. ALL ABOUT PORTS, a new platform for holistic port solutions, and LogiNext Germany, the industry meeting point for digital logistics innovations, open on 2 and 3 September; the Longevity Forum Deutschland, dedicated to healthy ageing, follows on 4 September. Hamburg Messe und Congress CEOs Uwe Fischer and Heiko M. Stutzinger called running three brand-new formats alongside SMM a huge challenge, noting that a premiere is always labour-intensive, especially for an own event, and that SMM alone normally ties up all resources; they thanked the team. More than 50,000 visitors from 120 countries are expected in Hamburg for SMM2026 from 1 to 4 September, and an additional temporary twelfth hall was erected on the exhibition grounds to accommodate the around 2,300 exhibiting companies from 70 nations.
