Hannover Fairs Turkey sets up Dubai subsidiary HANNOVER FAIRS MENA

Hannover Fairs Turkey, the Turkish subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG, has established a new Dubai-based company, HANNOVER FAIRS MENA, to strengthen its operations across the Middle East and North Africa. The move follows the model the group used in Southeast Asia and makes Türkiye a strategic hub for its trade fair and event operations in the region. Deutsche Messe said markets such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are accelerating competition and innovation in the exhibition sector through international partnerships and investment projects, and that the new company aims to establish operational centres in high-growth regions and will start with sector-focused exhibition projects for the region. Mehtap Gürsoy was appointed Managing Director of HANNOVER FAIRS MENA and also became Managing Director of Hannover Fairs Turkey, succeeding Annika Klar, who moved to Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG.
