HKTDC participated for the fourth consecutive year in WAIC 2026 in Shanghai, establishing the 'Hong Kong Tech Pavilion' with Cyberport, HKSTP, and HSITP to showcase 18 leading HK AI companies in smart robots, smart city, cybersecurity, and enterprise AI. HKTDC hosted an 'AI-Driven Economic Frontier and Global Cooperation Forum' and business matching sessions, underscoring Hong Kong's role as a bridge connecting China and the world's innovation ecosystems. The 'Most Favourite Startup Award' went to Chip-Mfg Ltd for AI-driven semiconductor manufacturing.
