Houston Tents & Events Acquires Jaacked Event Rentals to Open West Texas Division

Houston Tents & Events has acquired Jaacked Event Rentals, extending the event rental company's reach across Texas and establishing a dedicated presence in the west of the state. Deal terms were not disclosed. Jaacked owners Jomar Alcala and Priscilla De Luna Alcala join Houston Tents & Events and will help lead a newly created West Texas division. Existing Jaacked customers keep working with the same people while gaining access to Houston Tents & Events' inventory, temporary structures, event power solutions and full-service rental capabilities. Founded in 2019, Jaacked Event Rentals has served San Angelo, Midland-Odessa, Abilene, Lubbock and surrounding communities, and is one of the few local companies specialising in tent rentals. Founder and chief executive Darren Randle said the Alcalas have built an outstanding reputation in West Texas through customer service, professionalism and community relationships, and that their local market knowledge makes them a natural fit. Jomar Alcala said the combination lets the team take on larger and more complex projects while keeping local relationships. Houston Tents & Events was founded in 2020 and supplies tents, temporary structures, portable power and rental equipment for corporate events, sporting events, festivals and community activations across Texas.
