ICEE 2026 Draws More Than 150 Coal and Energy Companies to Jakarta in Its Second Edition

The Indonesia Coal and Energy Expo (ICEE) 2026 ran for three days, from 11 to 13 May, at JIEXPO Kemayoran in Central Jakarta, positioned as a bridge between Indonesia and China that also reaches into Southeast Asia. The second edition carried the theme "Cooperation for New Development in Energy" and focused on clean coal utilisation, green mine development, smart mining and new energy integration. More than 150 companies from across the industry chain took part, spanning coal exploration, mining, washing and processing, logistics, environmental management, new energy and intelligent operation and maintenance. Exhibitors included China Coal, China Coal Technology & Engineering Group, Sinopec, Huawei, XCMG Group, Xukuang Group, Shandong Energy, CRRC Datong, LiuGong Machinery, Shaanxi Automobile Group, Taiyuan Heavy Industry, CCCC Tianhe, Longking Environmental Protection and Cidi Intelligent Driving. The opening was attended by Indonesian Coal Mining Association chairman Priyadi, Tri Winarno, director general for minerals and coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Niu Liangliang, chief representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Indonesia, Shixin International Exhibition Group chairman Cao Linbing, and China National Coal Association vice chairman Xie Hongxu. The Indonesia International Clean Coal Utilization and Green Mining Conference 2026 ran alongside the show.
