INTERSCHUTZ 2026 set for record size with 1,525 exhibitors from 51 countries

Weeks before INTERSCHUTZ 2026, the leading trade fair for fire and rescue services and civil protection running in Hannover from 1 to 6 June 2026, organisers said indicators point to the largest edition of all time. Under the motto Safeguarding tomorrow, 1,525 exhibitors from 51 nations will occupy 112,463 sqm of net exhibition space, ahead of the previous record edition in 2015, which had 1,453 exhibitors on 107,327 sqm and 156,844 visitors, and well above 2022, which was still affected by COVID with 1,296 exhibitors, 84,052 sqm and 84,920 visitors. Deutsche Messe described the six-day event as more than ever also a political trade fair, focusing on what it called the turning point in civil protection and the growing challenges faced by emergency responders worldwide, with civil-military cooperation among the highlighted themes.
