Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2026 Wraps Up
Messe Frankfurt Italia reports that the 2026 edition of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics closed in Shanghai after bringing the international textile industry together from 25 to 27 August around sourcing, innovation, sustainability and new trends. The fair featured more than 3,500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions across 240,000 sq m of exhibition space, with particular attention to performance, sustainable materials, digitalisation and new technological solutions. Highlights of the 2026 edition included the CUBE – Functional Lab, dedicated to functional textiles and their applications, the debut of the Pet Boutique, and the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum, which explored Autumn/Winter 2027-28 trends through a multisensory experience. According to the organiser, the edition confirms the fair's role as an international meeting point for anticipating how textiles evolve. The next Spring Edition is set for Shanghai from 10 to 12 March 2027.
