Italy-China trade tops 76 billion dollars at Puglia CIIE day
A senior seminar on Italian food and feed exports to China, held together with a promotion day for the 9th China International Import Expo, took place in the Puglia region of Italy on 11 and 12 June 2026. It was jointly organised by the Italian association promoting food and feed exports to China (BRIFF), the Coldiretti farmers federation of Puglia and the chamber of commerce of Foggia province, with the aim of promoting the region agricultural produce internationally and publicising the expo, which is organised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and held each November in Shanghai. Chinese representative Xu Yuhong said bilateral trade between China and Italy reached USD 76.18 billion in 2025, staying above USD 70 billion for a fifth consecutive year.
