İzmir, Antalya and Ankara form the second tier of Türkiye's fair calendar

Behind İstanbul, Türkiye's fair calendar has a clear second tier. İzmir held 37 fairs in 2025 with 5,003 exhibitors, 2,975,509 visitors and 259,961 square metres of stand space. Antalya held 33 with 2,864 exhibitors, 1,828,162 visitors and 167,528 square metres. Ankara held 32 with 3,117 exhibitors, 1,264,998 visitors and 169,144 square metres. Bursa follows with 19 fairs, 1,473 exhibitors and 92,209 square metres, and Denizli with 13 fairs and 64,335 square metres. Two provinces stand out for floor space on comparatively few events: Konya staged 7 fairs on 112,469 square metres and Kayseri 10 fairs on 86,583 square metres. Adana recorded 897,416 visitors from 11 fairs. On foreign visitors the second tier is much thinner, with İzmir on 48,960, Antalya on 37,750, Ankara on 27,248 and Bursa on 19,194. The register lists 46 provinces in all, so a sector not served in İstanbul may still have a venue elsewhere. Each province is reported on the same ten measures used for the national totals.
