JETRO Selects 24 Japanese Biotech Companies for Japan Pavilion at BIO International Convention 2026 in San Diego

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) announced the selection of 24 Japanese biotech companies to exhibit at the Japan Pavilion at BIO International Convention 2026, held June 22-25, 2026 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. The pavilion occupies approximately 233 square meters at booth 4421, featuring a redesigned contemporary aesthetic. Exhibitors represent the biopharmaceutical industry, offering products and services in drug development, biomaterials, biotech research tools, and therapeutic solutions. JETRO established the pavilion to facilitate overseas expansion for Japanese startups and enable international collaboration partnerships with major pharmaceutical companies. A Breakfast Meeting on the opening day provides dedicated networking between Japanese companies and top international pharma firms. For reference, the 2025 BIO Convention in Boston attracted approximately 21,600 attendees and 1,650 exhibitors, with 66,308 business meetings recorded.
