JETRO Holds Japanese Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products and Food Export Business Meeting in Poland 2026 to Diversify Export Destinations in Central and Eastern Europe
JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) will hold the Japanese Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products and Food Export Business Meeting in Poland 2026 on 15 September 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, the fourth consecutive year it has been staged there. Eighteen Japanese companies will exhibit Japanese agri-food products including alcoholic beverages, and 23 buyers from seven countries — importers, wholesalers, retailers and restaurant operators — will take part. The morning offers 100 or more pre-matched seated meetings; the afternoon is a walk-around tasting session. JETRO says the project began as an effort to diversify export destinations after the ALPS treated water discharge, and that from fiscal 2025 its product scope was widened from fishery products to Japanese agri-food as a whole. The following day JETRO co-hosts a further meeting with the All Japan Rice and Rice-Related Food Export Promotion Council (Zenbeiyu), a government-certified agri-food export promotion body, with 16 of its members and about 35 buyers from seven countries expected to take part.
