JETRO Supports 26 Japanese SMEs at MTA Vietnam 2026 to Expand Market Access in ASEAN

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) established a Japan Pavilion at MTA Vietnam 2026, the largest manufacturing exhibition in Vietnam, held at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City from July 1-4, 2026. A total of 26 Japanese companies participated, with 18 in standard or special booths and 8 in the Challenge Space for companies beginning international operations. Exhibitors specialized in global niche technologies including precision components, measurement instruments, metal cutting tools, vacuum heat treatment furnaces, forged products, and grinding equipment. JETRO provided individualized consulting, business preparation materials, mock negotiations, and trade practice training for first-time international exhibitors. Vietnam strategic importance as an ASEAN hub is underscored by its 8.02% GDP growth in 2025 and the ongoing shift of global supply chains away from China.
