Korea staged 736 qualifying exhibitions in 2024 on 7.4 million square metres of total floor space

Korea's 2024 exhibition count is a complete enumeration rather than a sample. It covers shows held in professional exhibition halls that ran at least two consecutive days on at least 2,000 square metres of total area with at least 10 booths, and it produced 736 exhibitions. Those events used 7,382,350 square metres of total exhibition area and 2,371,804 square metres of net area, hosted 115,038 exhibiting companies and drew 9,530,953 visitors. The average show carried 156 exhibitors, of which 134 were Korean and 22 came from abroad. By size, 251 exhibitions ran under 5,000 square metres and 263 between 5,000 and 9,999, so most of the calendar sits in the small and mid range, while 38 shows exceeded 30,000 square metres and accounted for 1,835,960 square metres between them. Events, conferences, single-company shows and recruitment fairs are excluded from the count. The survey covers the calendar year 2024 and was carried out by the Association of Korea Exhibition Industry.
