Liberia's Ministry of Mines Signs Agreement with AME to Organize Country's First Mining and Energy Conference

According to Liberia's Africa Front Page on May 11, Liberia's Ministry of Mines and Energy signed a cooperation agreement on May 7 with international exhibition company Africa Middle East Europe Trade Ltd (AME) to jointly organize the country's first National Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition. AME will be fully responsible for planning, promotion, exhibitor recruitment, website operations and international outreach, and for inviting global investors, industry experts and partners. The Ministry will provide official endorsement, government coordination and diplomatic invitations. The conference aims to showcase national resource potential and attract foreign direct investment. The organizer bears all hosting costs; the government assumes no financial risk, and 20% of the exhibition's net profit will go to the Liberia Chamber of Mines.
