Malaysia Showcases Innovative F&B Solutions at FOODEX Japan 2026
Malaysia is presenting 18 export-ready companies at FOODEX Japan 2026 (March 10–13, Tokyo Big Sight, West Hall W1-U06), led by MATRADE alongside KUSKOP, MARA, FAMA, and SKM. Featured products include halal ready-to-eat meals, nutritional and functional foods, and premium pastes and sauces, targeting Japan's F&B market worth approximately USD 750 billion. Japan is Malaysia's fifth-largest trading partner with 2025 bilateral trade reaching RM142.96 billion. Japan imports nearly 60% of its food supply. The pavilion builds on momentum from Expo 2025 Osaka and leverages the Malaysia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (MJEPA).
