March, September, October and November Accounted for 52% of UK Exhibitions in 2025
The seasonal pattern of UK exhibitions in 2025 was similar to 2024, with a post-summer peak. March, September, October and November were the busiest months and together accounted for 52% of all exhibitions in the year. Month by month the split was 4% in January, 9% in February, 13% in March, 7% in April, 9% in May, 10% in June, 5% in July, 2% in August, 13% in September, 13% in October, 13% in November and 3% in December. Compared with 2024, September rose from 11% to 13% and November from 11% to 13%, while October eased from 15% to 13% and both April and May slipped by a percentage point. By event type, consumer exhibitions peaked in March, October and November, reaching 16% in October, while trade exhibitions peaked in March, September and November, reaching 15% in September. August was the quietest month of the year, with just 1% of trade exhibitions and 3% of consumer exhibitions.
