Marie Browne Joins ReedPop as Senior Vice President, Head of ReedPop
RX and ReedPop have appointed Marie Browne as senior vice president, head of ReedPop, returning her to a business she helped build. Browne was part of the founding team behind New York Comic Con and later helped lead the acquisition of Emerald City Comic Con, extending ReedPop's footprint. She joined RX nearly 25 years ago and has held senior roles across strategy, portfolio growth and business development; most recently, as senior vice president, she helped shape RX US growth strategy by expanding the Functional Fabric Fair portfolio, supporting the development of PGA into a global brand and building RX's conferences business. She continues to report to Fernando Fischer, president of Americas at RX. Browne is a past chair of both the Center for Exhibition Industry Research and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, and currently sits on the board of the Society of Independent Show Organizers. In the new role she leads ReedPop's US business and its flagship events. ReedPop was launched in 2006; RX operates in 25 countries across 41 industry sectors and runs approximately 350 events a year.
