June 2026 Trade Performance: Malaysia Posts All-Time Monthly High, H1 Trade Hits Record RM1.796 Trillion

Malaysia's June 2026 trade reached an all-time monthly high of RM340.89 billion (+44.7% YoY), with exports up 45.4% to RM177.89 billion and a trade surplus of RM14.89 billion — the 74th consecutive monthly surplus. H1 2026 total trade rose 22.4% to RM1.796 trillion, exports grew 27.5% to RM971.59 billion. E&E products led with RM85.31 billion (+56.9%) in June, and Malaysia climbed to 15th in IMD World Competitiveness Ranking.
