Malaysian Exporters Triumph at Korea Import Expo 2026, Recording RM160 Million in Trade Leads

Malaysia concluded its second participation at Korea Import Expo (KIE) 2026 (23-25 June, COEX Seoul) with RM160 million in export prospects — surpassing the RM120 million target — through 17 Malaysian companies including 10 under MARA's Gate to Global programme. Malaysia was the largest ASEAN national participant. Key products included premium halal food, snacks and household goods. Malaysia-South Korea bilateral trade reached RM117.12 billion in 2025 (+6.8%).
