MATRADE Launches the Malaysia-China Gateway Initiative (MCGi) to Strengthen Technical Compliance for China Market Entry

MATRADE signed a Collaboration Agreement with CAIQ Biosecurity Sdn. Bhd. to launch the Malaysia-China Gateway Initiative (MCGi), providing Malaysian MSMEs with structured technical compliance support for China export entry, covering product testing, documentation, labelling and traceability in food, agriculture, cosmetics and healthcare sectors. China remains Malaysia's top trading partner with bilateral trade of RM541.54 billion in 2025. MCGi also targets expansion into China's second- and third-tier cities.
