Messe München 2025: overseas events draw 8,432 exhibitors and 352,929 visitors
Messe München annual report shows its own events abroad in 2025 attracted 8,432 exhibitors and 352,929 visitors across 258,653 sqm of net space. Counting participations and cooperations, the group staged 42 events abroad in 2025 with around 1.8 million visitors and 18,000 exhibitors. The company has been internationally active for more than 25 years and now operates twelve subsidiaries and holdings at over twenty locations worldwide. China remains its most important foreign market, where the group says its technology fairs grew against the trend: electronica China drew 66,960 visitors and 1,754 exhibitors, productronica China 60,182 visitors and 1,101 exhibitors, and Laser World of Photonics China 52,835 visitors and 1,405 exhibitors. India hosted 14 events, including IFAT India with 18,043 visitors, electronica India with productronica India at 27,247, and Indian Ceramics. Other overseas events included ISPO Shanghai with 29,072 visitors, ISPO Beijing with 24,645, IFAT Brasil, IFAT Africa, transport logistic Southeast Asia and Glasstech Asia.
