Messe München posts record 2025 group revenue of EUR 594 million

Messe München reported the best financial year in its history for 2025, according to its annual report. Group revenue reached EUR 594.4 million, up from EUR 488.2 million in 2024, and the group result rose to EUR 99.0 million from EUR 69.6 million. Group EBITDA came to EUR 175.3 million against EUR 141.9 million a year earlier. At parent company level, Messe München GmbH generated revenue of EUR 517.0 million, up from EUR 336.8 million, with EBITDA of EUR 152.1 million and a net result of EUR 88.1 million. Group equity stood at EUR 498.5 million and the group balance sheet total at EUR 1,236.0 million. Headcount rose to 711 at Messe München GmbH and 1,142 across the group, both including average temporary staff. CEOs Reinhard Pfeiffer and Stefan Rummel attributed the result to a clear strategic direction and said the figures, achieved amid economic headwinds, underline the role trade fairs play in economic growth and international dialogue.
