MIE Events Global EV & Mobility Portfolio 2027 Expands into Canada and Ethiopia

MIE Events announced the expansion of its Global EV & Mobility Portfolio 2027, an international exhibition series dedicated to the electric vehicle and mobility ecosystem, into Canada and Ethiopia, following editions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Kenya and Ghana. The portfolio now spans 10 upcoming editions across 7 markets and 3 continents. The 2026 editions are Morocco, 27-29 October, Foire Internationale de Casablanca; Kenya, 9-11 December, KICC, Nairobi; and Saudi Arabia, 14-17 December, Dhahran International Exhibition Centre, Dammam. The 2027 editions are Saudi Arabia, 10-15 April, Jeddah Center for Exhibitions; Canada, 9-11 June, The International Centre, Toronto; Ethiopia, 10-12 June, Addis International Convention Center; Ghana, 6-8 July, The Palms Convention Center, Accra; Morocco, 26-28 October, Foire Internationale de Casablanca; the UAE, 26-29 November, Expo Centre Sharjah; and Kenya, 10-12 December, KICC, Nairobi. The organiser said global EV sales grew 20% in 2025 to exceed 20 million units, a quarter of all new cars sold worldwide, with the sharpest growth coming from emerging markets; that Africa is projected to grow at a 53.9% CAGR through 2031, led by Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Morocco; that the GCC is scaling toward a USD 31.66 billion market by 2031, anchored by Saudi Vision 2030; and that Canadian zero-emission vehicle sales are up 74.7% year-on-year.
