MIP London Wraps Successful Second Edition
MIP London, the international television and streaming content market organised by RX, has closed its second edition after running 22 to 24 February 2026 at The IET London and The Savoy. The event drew close to 2,000 delegates from 74 countries. More than 200 contributors and speakers took part, with keynotes from YouTube, Goalhanger, Sidemen Productions and media analyst Evan Shapiro. The programme covered the creator economy, brand entertainment, microdramas, podcasting and artificial intelligence, alongside country showcases, screenings and genre tracks for formats, documentary and factual, and kids and teens. For this edition the market moved to an earlier slot in the calendar and ran in a condensed format, which the organiser links to the major deals announced on site and to sustained engagement across the three days. Lucy Smith, Director of MIP London, said the second edition had amazing energy and wall-to-wall engagement. The release does not give dates for the third edition, nor a breakdown of exhibitor or buyer numbers separate from the overall delegate figure.
