Morocco briefed on zero-tariff access ahead of ninth CIIE

A promotion event for the 9th China International Import Expo was held in Morocco on 6 June 2026. Wu Zhengping, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau and chairman of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, said this year marks the tenth anniversary of the China-Morocco strategic partnership and that the zero-tariff measure China applied in May to 53 African countries with diplomatic relations, Morocco among them, creates more favourable conditions for bilateral economic and trade cooperation and broadens the outlook for mutually beneficial ties.
