Moss Acquires UK-Based Sign Up Systems to Expand Live Events Capability

Moss, a producer of large-format graphics, custom structures and installations, has acquired Sign Up Systems, a UK developer of patented extrusion and tensioning systems. Deal terms were not disclosed. Sign Up Systems' technology is built for live events, allowing faster installation of reliably tensioned graphics across exhibitions, activations and large event structures, and has been used at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Farnborough International Airshow as well as on projects for Chanel, Jaguar Land Rover, Jo Malone and Porsche. The acquisition follows a long working relationship between the two companies and deepens Moss's offering for outdoor and structural applications, where Sign Up Systems has delivered projects in continental Europe and the United States. Founder Jon Bromhead retires and the senior team now reports to Moss UK managing director Michael Green. The business will rebrand as Moss and continue operating from its Nottinghamshire site, which houses UV and dye sublimation printing, cutting, aluminium fabrication, CNC, rolling and welding. Moss president Jason Popp said the deal advances the group's aim of being the leading global specialist production partner for branded experiences. Moss, a Vomela company, operates production facilities in the United States, Germany, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom.
