Ninth CIIE reports 300,000 sqm signed at Langfang roadshow

An exhibitor recruitment roadshow for the 9th China International Import Expo was held in Langfang, Hebei province, on 17 June 2026. Organisers reported that preparations were advancing steadily: more than 40 countries and international organisations had confirmed participation in the country pavilion, nearly 1,000 companies from more than 80 countries and regions had registered for the business exhibition, and signed exhibition space exceeded 300,000 sqm. The expo, running in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November 2026, will be coordinated with the Export to China, Invest in China and Buy in China opening-up programmes, with greater emphasis on expanding imports and balanced trade development.
