NürnbergMesse Looks Forward Confidently to a Record 2026

NürnbergMesse Group has reported that its 2025 events year produced the highest sales ever recorded for an odd-numbered year, at about EUR 350 million against EUR 265.1 million in 2023, despite geopolitical tension, rising protectionism and a weak German economy. Across 150 events worldwide, down from 177 in 2023, the group counted more than 31,000 exhibitors, up 12 percent, and about 1.4 million visitors, also up 12 percent, on roughly 1.1 million square metres of exhibition space, an increase of 18 percent. Group CEO Peter Ottmann said international customers contributed a solid half of the total and that the company expects to set a new sales record in its history in 2026, at about EUR 390 million, with around 150 events on the calendar. The 2026 year opened with EUROGUSS, the international die casting trade fair. Petra Wolf, Senior Vice President Product Management, highlighted the security cluster of EnforceTac, it-sa and Perimeter Protection as particularly strong performers, along with KOMMUNALE and the SPS guest event, while Interlift grew substantially in its first Nuremberg edition. Outside Germany the Brazilian and Greek subsidiaries stood out. The group continues to invest in its exhibition centre, event portfolio, digital services and staff.
