RUEF's XIII MICE Networking Forum Sets Development Vector for the Congress-Exhibition Industry

On January 21, 2026, the XIII MICE Networking Forum and RUEF General Assembly took place in St. Petersburg, bringing together more than 100 congress-exhibition industry professionals. The business programme included: personal data compliance for event organizers (Mikhail Bozhor, Vladimir Bannikov); industry statistics and key trends by Darya Ostrovskaya (CEO, VNIC R&C); and a sector development forecast by futurist Sergei Pereslegin. On January 22-23, RUEF co-organized sessions at the Eurasian Event Forum (EFEA) covering events as creative industries, digital personalization, and events as a tool of people's diplomacy (Sergei Alekseev, acting RUEF president, also presented the international MICE Industry Consortium). At the General Assembly, the DIDI design exhibition organizer joined the MICE Consortium, and RUEF signed a strategic agreement with the Agency for Business Communications to promote industrial and business tourism across Russian regions.
