RX Announces Leadership Transition in France

RX has announced that Filippo Rean becomes President of RX France with effect from 14 September 2026, succeeding Michel Filzi, who retires in early 2027 after 27 years with the company. Filzi has led the France business for 12 years, overseeing a portfolio of more than 30 events, and will remain as Special Advisor until April 2027 to support the handover. Rean is currently Managing Director of the RX France Hub and reports to Chief Executive Hugh Jones. Italian by origin and settled in Paris, he holds dual French and Italian citizenship. He joined RX in 2010 to lead MIPIM and has since held senior positions across several of the group's brands, with earlier experience in management consultancy and strategy. Hugh Jones said Rean is exceptionally well placed to lead RX France through its next chapter and to unlock new opportunities for growth. France is one of RX's largest single-country operations, and the extended overlap between an outgoing president of 12 years and his successor indicates a managed rather than abrupt transition.
