Saudi exhibitions and conferences association counted 140 memberships in 2024
The Saudi Exhibitions and Conferences Association, based in Riyadh and describing itself as the first non-governmental body specialised in the exhibitions and conferences sector in the Kingdom, set out its 2024 work in twelve tallies. Memberships came to 140 and meetings to 70, alongside 40 press meetings, 15 agreements, 15 events and visits, 10 EFEX sessions, 4 workshops, 4 sponsorships, 2 SECA Council sessions, one periodic member gathering, one fund support case and one HADAF support case. One of the four workshops dealt with the rules governing customs procedures. The association also ran the third day of the International Exhibitions and Conferences Summit 2024, with 11 sessions, 55 speakers and, on its own count, more than 400 attendees from international and local companies, and used the occasion to announce the SECA Award. Agreements signed during the year included ones with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, the Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Najran Chamber and the company Maximus, plus a memorandum with the health ministry's mental health and social services department.
